registered group classes

Classes take place in my home studio, and space is limited to a maximum of 6 people per class. Whether you’re interested in yoga specifically or simply want to experience some of the benefits, such as improved flexibility and less stress, you’ll benefit from my approach to yoga and movement.

Yoga is an excellent tool for supporting upright posture, running, climbing, lifting and so on. So many people can benefit from yoga. All bodies, ages, genders, sexes, backgrounds, and interests are welcome.

If you’ve practiced yoga before, my approach of learning about relationships and finding ease even in complex shapes might be new for you. You’ll find that as you learn more about how your body works, your practice will feel easier and deepen.

Payment (cash, bank transfer, or PayPal) in full for classes is due before or on the first day of class. Missed classes will not be refunded, though you may join the other class if you will be absent the day of your own.

Yoga Foundations - 75 minutes - tuesdays - 9:30-10:45 - 100€

In this foundational class, we’ll start with the basics and break down yoga postures and breathing techniques. We’ll take time to explore the movement mechanics so that you feel stable, grounded, and at ease throughout the movements. You’ll not only quickly build strength and balance but will also have the time to feel into your body, explore your ranges of movement, and gain insight into the nuances of your own movement and breath.

In each class we will:

  • Learn the foundations of yoga in a sustainable and supportive way.

  • Explore active ranges of motion, which quickly provide results.

  • Unwind tension and create ease.

  • Consider each individual and create a safe and accessible environment.

At the end of the series, you will have a grounding in all of the basic yoga poses and principles as well as a better understanding of how to optimize movements to have the poses work for you, not you for the poses.


Beyond the Basics - 75 minutes - Wednesdays - 9:30-10:45 - 100€

October 2, 9, 16, 30

In this class, students with previous yoga experience (or those who have completed the Yoga Foundations class) will explore movement mechanics in more complex yoga poses. Classes will include some flow, including Sun Salutations, but the focus remains on moving efficiently so that you can build strength and flexibility with ease, not with strain and excessive effort.

In each class we will:

  • Add complexity to movements to play with the body’s limits.

  • Explore active ranges of motion, rather than passive ranges of motion.

  • Layer on attention to breath or core response while the body moves.

  • Consider each individual and create a safe and accessible environment.

At the end of the series, you will have a solid mechanical understanding of more complex poses, awareness of where your body is more open and where it is more limited, know how to build active ranges and select poses that are best suited for where you want to grow.
